Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Hits and Misses
I am sure you are all totally over hearing about the Nordstrom sale - if you were even shopping it to begin with, but I wanted to share what I actually kept from all my picks and orders!
The trick to the sale is ordering everything you think you could possible ever want and then trying it on to see if you actually like it before it all sells out. That said, I had a few misses I thought I'd love and a few hits I didn't even pick out at first!
I did a full post with links to all my original picks after going through the catalog here and then once the sale went live here, but this post is talking about what I kept, sizing info and everything else!
BEAUTY:
Everything in this original post linked here is truly a HIT and stuff I use, but the only things I happened to need at the time of the sale were the tanner linked here (full post on why I love it so much here) and the mini Voluspa candle set, although I got this one linked here instead.
ACCESSORIES:
Again, I love everything I picked in this post linked here and have similar versions of most, but I did buy the Tory Burch Bag in Light Oak linked here and am so glad I did! I have used it so many times already. Pictured below. I regret not getting the brown color too!
SHOES:
I ended up getting a pair I originally disregarded! In my original picks here, I linked many things that I either have already or really close versions, so I didn't plan on getting any shoes, but I couldn't resist these cuties! Pictured below and run true to size (I got a 7.5 and usually wear either a 7 or 7.5 and probably could've done either in these).
CLOTHES:
There were mostly hits from my original post here and a few misses I was surprised by and then a few things I discovered along the way!

Lace Top - ordered a M and comes in 4 great colors (didn't try the small but this is roomy)
Sale: $45.90 / After Sale: $69
Tory Burch Leather Wallet Crossbody - in Light Oak
Sale: $151.90 / After Sale: $228

Tres Chic Tee - ordered a S and had to exchange for a M, which is perfect for knots!
Sale: $29.90 / After Sale: $45
Tory Bag pictured again!
(Dress is old H&M and sunglasses are old Armani Exchange)

Same Tee styled differently and with a front tuck instead of knot.
Berry & Ivory Nubby Cardigan - ordered a M and bought it in both colors
Sale: $35.90 / After Sale: $55
(Jeans are old American Rag)

J.Crew Pajamas are part of the sale in Pink and Blue but I have them in White from a past sale and got a M - they're cotton and run smaller/shrink a little.
(Cardigan is Gibson and not part of the sale but linked here in 2 other colors)

Moonlight Shortie Pajamas - ordered a M and like they're oversized but could've done a S
Sale: $35.90 / After Sale: $55
Waffle Cardigan - ordered a S
Sale: $45.90 / After Sale: $69

Same sweater that I am living in.

Light Grey Joggers- ordered a M & comes in 3 colors
Sale: $25.90 / After Sale $39
Grey and Black Lounge Pants - ordered a M in both and got in both colors. I don't see them online anymore in standard sizing, but they are Make + Model Boyfriend Hacci Lounge Pants

Didn't plan on either this sweater or these shoes originally but loved them once I saw them on others. Perfect to pair with Black Skinny Jeans and a Black Gucci Belt.
Balloon Sleeve Sweater in Ivory- I got a small and it's perfect length for a slight tuck
Steve Madden Slides in Snake- runs TTS - I got a 7.5 and could do that or 7.

Lace Up Cami - ordered a S had to exchange for a M comes in 3 colors
Sale: $38.90 / After Sale: $59
Lace Trim Cami - ordered a M in green and rose (already have in black & white)
Sale: $22.90 / After Sale: $35
I found this jacket I fell in love with in store and had to wait for my size for 2 weeks to come back online - ordered in both S and M - small fits with room but I want to layer sweaters and the M is on it's way.

Barefoot Dreams Cardigan - this brand is the softest and rarely on sale S/M
Sale: $88.90 / After Sale: $134
Ivory Nubby Cardigan - ordered a M and bought it in both colors
Sale: $35.90 / After Sale: $55
Stripe Pullover - love it so casual size S
Sale: $31.90 / After Sale: $49
Berry Nubby Cardigan - ordered a M and bought it in both colors
Sale: $35.90 / After Sale: $55
Waffle Cardigan - ordered a S
Sale: $45.90 / After Sale: $69
Balloon Sleeve Sweater in Ivory- I got a small and it's perfect length for a slight tuck
Ryder Cardigan - order a M and bought this solely because it's so hard to find a true brown sweater anywhere?! Jokes on me, it is more Olive but so soft I 'm keeping it - M
Sale: 64.90 / After Sale: $98
Thermal Henley - I originally ordered a different one and didn't like it but found this one in White here in a Small - still online in plus size right now
MISSES FROM MY ORIGINAL ORDER:
The first 3 left to right of row 1, furthest right in row 2 and 3

Stripe Joggers- these were comfortable but only come in large size ranges and the M was too big on me
Sale: $29.90 / After Sale: $45
Thermal Henley Top - ordered a M I like the Caslon one better and this one is too open on top for me
Sale: $24.90 / After Sale: $38
Colorblock Knit Top - ordered a 6 and 8 I was SO excited for this from the beginning but it just wasn't flattering on me.
Sale: $44.90 / After Sale: $68
Floral Lace Cami - ordered a M and it was huge! Out of stock in S
Sale: $29.90 / After Sale: $49
Stripe Cardigan - ordered a S and it has literally disappeared from earth. I know I had it when I picked up my online order to the store and tried it all on, but now it's not part of my online order when I check the app and I don't have it so... it was either returned or somehow lost :(
Sale: $45.90 / After Sale: $69
Star Lounge Set- I ordered these on a whim and thought it was cute but it is SO uncomfortable. The sewing of the stars is so thick you feel them all from the inside. Not online anymore but pictured with the Tee that is linked
Alternative Lounge Pants- ordered these after falling in love with the Make + Model Boyfriend pants and wanted Ivory but these are so cheap and crappy comparatively and not worth the price
Make + Model Fleece Lined Joggers- These are cute and I would love them, but they are not made for big booty women. I tried a M and it still didn't fit well in the back, so great find if you don't fall into that category!
