April Beauty Empties
I don't know about you, but I think it's a rare feat when I actually use a product until it's gone! There are just so many options to try, but I committed recently and wanted to share my thoughts on some of the empties and tell you what I'd rebuy! Hopefully it helps if you're on the fence about any of these.

Kristin Ess Signature Shampoo- I bought this because it's stunning. I loved the packaging with its silky matte blush bottle (sucker for good packaging!). It was also a highly anticipated launch and it's easy to buy and found at Target for around $10 so I thought I'd give it a try. Verdict is - I didn't rebuy it. It is sulfate-free, which I love since I have been on a cleaner beauty bender. It left my hair feeling nice - nothing fantastic or awful but just good, alright, fine. I did not love the smell - it smelled very chemical-like to me. I would maybe get it again in the future, but for now I've chosen to move on. I also have no loyalty to hair products of any kind so that may play into this!
Caudalie Deep Cleaning Exfoliator- This has an unfair advantage because I repurchased before this one was even empty, but I LOVE IT. It's the perfect balance of exfoliation without being too abrasive. AND it has a menthol feeling and is refreshing without those tiny beads that are bad for your skin and the planet. Verdict is- I will use this for as long as they make it.
Caudalie S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum- This is actually my 2nd bottle of this so I did repurchase before and then my sweet husband saw it was empty on the counter and ordered me a new one <3 so kind! I like it and like putting it on before my swath of serums and potions as a quick moisturizer that's light enough for laying other things on top. Verdict is - I will probably buy this again in the future, but I have adjusted my beauty routine without it since it's been empty, and I didn't notice a big difference so I will live without it for now but still love and recommend.
Colgate Optic White Radiant Toothpaste- I like whitening toothpaste because you're getting the benefits of whitening without really doing anything different than you'd normally do. That said, I think some work better than others. This one is supposed to whiten the surface and deep inside your teeth, which I think it does somewhat, but I didn't notice dramatic results (although my teeth are fairly white to start so I don't notice most whitening products and they don't meet my Ross Geller in Friends expectations of white teeth HA!). I knew this one had to be serious business when the box had a security tag on it. If you have sensitive teeth, I'm not sure if it'd be painful. Verdict is - I rebought it because I don't have a better option that I've found, but I'd try something new.
Farsali 24K Gold Oil- My best friend got this for me for my birthday and I loved it off the bat. It's made with actual gold - how fun is that!? AND it has an eye dropper! After trying it, it worked really well, too! It smells citrusy and fantastic and is loaded with vitamin C and gold flakes so it is moisturizing, nourishing, anti-aging and fights dark spots for even skin. Verdict is - I bought the full size one and use it every morning and liked this better than the SkinCeuticals C E Serum that is more than $100 MORE than this one!
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion- If you ever get even the occasional pimple, you should have this in your cabinet. It's so easy and really does dry them out in a quicker timeframe. I sleep with it on any blemish and wash it off in the morning and notice a significant difference. Verdict is - I bought it again and will keep it on hand forever.
NeuLash Lash Growth Serum- So I've talked about this before and I just now finished my small tube of this! I have pretty long lashes to start but they felt dry and brittle so I wanted something nourishing just like for skin and couldn't find anything aside from mascara primers and castor oil (which I like as well but it's too oily!) I found this from other bloggers talking about it and it is PACKED with vitamins and the actual point of it is to help lash growth, which it does work as well. For lash growth, it recommends daily use, but I probably use it twice a week and still noticed my lashes grew and they seem more healthy and nourished. Verdict is - I bought it again and it lasted 1 year for me to finish this tube so the cost was reasonable!
If you have any questions about any of these, let me know! I love testing things to help people make better purchasing decisions on where to spend their hard-earned beauty dollars!
