Guest Bathroom Renovation

We have lived in this house for a whole year can you believe it!? I can't; it's the longest I have ever lived anywhere. We are still doing some renovations and have started on the bigger ones (aside from the floors, which were first). First up was the guest bathroom. I wanted to do this first to see how it went before tackling the master bathroom because we did it all ourselves (by we, I mean Dustin did all the work and I picked it all out and decorated).

Here is the before - from the people who lived here before us. It was decorated... differently from us, but you can still get the drift!

We took out basically everything except the shower/tub because we are going to wait to replace that with tile for future kid purposes.

We painted the cabinets instead of replacing them, which was a good trial run for our kitchen. We also added hardware as it had none before.

We painted the walls Grey Owl by Benjamin Moore and the cabinets are Chelsea Grey and a Carrera Marble counter top.

We chose brass hardware (my FAVE!) for everything. I am so happy it's "in" right now because it was easier to find than I thought it'd be. However, I still had to order all of it online.

My new favorite faucets ever!

Under the sink and the closet will be filled with beauty goodies - partly so it feels like a spa for guests and partly because my master looks like a Sephora!) I've got much more to go.

I went with white for the rugs and the shower curtain to lighten up all the grey - especially since we went with darker floors than I had originally anticipated.
