Gratefulness
I cannot even begin to explain how full my heart has been in 2017; so many wonderful things have happened this year that have filled me up with so much joy. This time of year is the happiest and the perfect time to reflect. Not only is there the holiday season and thanksgiving, but I am about to turn a year older and we'll shortly be welcoming in 2018!
To start, we are all healthy and happy, which I could really stop there and that would be plenty. Our extended family and friends, our family, all the puppers - everyone! Some of my friends welcomed babies and others got married or engaged this year, so it was full of love. And I am incredibly grateful for everyone who supports me day in and day out for my 9-5 day job and this blogging adventure.

We purchased our first home! After a few months of looking somewhat on a whim, we decided it was a good time and it all worked out. We were able to spend the year (and lots of free time) personalizing it and furnishing it so it truly is ours. Definitely not done yet though!

I traveled all over the place heading on a cruise to Cozumel, Belize, Honduras and visited Orlando, Nashville and Cleveland (of course). Best of all I was able to spend 3 weeks in Paris exploring the entire city, which is enough on it's own.

And the best of all - we got engaged, and I get to spend the rest of my life officially married to my best friend! :) As another year and another birthday approach, I don't think another year will be able to top this.
Most of all, while the world is in turmoil it's most important to live each day to the best of your ability - be kind to others, help people, do right and live with a grateful heart while you celebrate by eating 30 lbs of food this year (if you're lucky enough to be able to do that). I hope you all have had a great year and have a bountiful Thanksgiving! xo
