Paris - Part Deux

Where We Stayed:
This time we stayed in Lower Le Marais - it was a fantastic location with tons of cafes, shops and a few blocks away from the river. Our neighborhood was full of life and very walkable. I only took the metro to the Eiffel Tower this time because we were so conveniently located. We used Airbnb and had the cutest tiny flat that was totally renovated with AC and an Eiffel Tower view. We just went in April, and I talked all about that here.
Where I Ate:
On top of all the standard croissants, baguettes and cheese, my favorite thing to do in Paris is eat! That goes for anywhere I travel though, so no surprise. Here is a rundown of where I ate and what I had.
Breakfast:
La Drogurie Du Marais- fresh made crepes with butter, sugar and cinnamon
Drahonnet- croissants, pain au chocolate and cappuccino (daily!)
Au Pan Qioten - ham and cheese croissant and tea
Les Philosophies - petite dejeuner
Angelina - eggs benedict, hot chocolate and pastries
Lunch/Dinner:
Candalaria- tacos, frijoles negros, salsa
L'Tresor - onion soup
Le Lutetia - chicken and frites
Chez Julien - tomato burrata salad
Caffe Vito - tagliatelle
Allo Sushi - dragon roll, miso soup
L'Equinox - escargot, scallop risotto, tiramisu
Tuk Tuk Thai- chicken pad thai
Cafe Le Louis Philippe - steak and potatoes (steak not so good)
L'As du Fallafel - fallafel (which I don't like but did there!) and shawarma
Where I shopped:
Zara
Caudalie - favorite skincare line and it has a spa
Mango
Vintage Shops
Cote e Cote
What I did:
Shop along the Rue de Rivoli
38Riv Jazz Club - I LOVED this and they have different acts nightly
Shakespeare & Co - so cute and so so many books with a cute cafe next door
Notre Dame - I accidentally did the stairs to the top but had the best view
Louvre picnic
Seine River Cruise - do this at sunset; it's perfection
Eiffel Tower Trocadero - if you go early, it's a good picture spot/at night to watch it sparkle
Gelato - eat it anywhere and everywhere
Picasso Museum
La Cusine Pastry class - I did one on my previous trip and loved it so much I did it again! This time, I learned how to make croissants, pain au chocolate, pastry creme and pain au raisins

Au Revoir, Paris! Until we meet again. XO
