November Birchbox Review

november birchbox

November's Birchbox theme was "finishing touches - the extra just because details that make all the difference" and now that it is the holiday season, I couldn't think of a better theme! I know it's December already, but things have been hectic lately with vacations, holidays, family visitors, house hunting and general life happenings!

The Organic Pharmacy Purifying Seaweed Clay Mask: So this is one of those products that you can tell is working by the way it smells and feels. It is packed with seaweed and is made for calming redness and removing blackheads and impurities. It was slightly drying, so if your skin is on the dry side I would pair it with a moisturizing mask or heavier moisturizer after.

Oribe Superfine Hairspray: If you've ever read any blog post review hair products, you already know I'm obsessed with Oribe products. To this day I have never smelled anything better! This hairspray is a medium-hold, which I prefer so my hair doesn't feel stiff. It smells magnificent and worked; however, I will clarify that my hair usually stays how I style it/holds curls really well so I can certainly see it not being strong enough for hair that insists on being difficult.

Marcelle New-Age LumiPower 3-in-1 Moisturizer: This is a multipurpose product that can be used as a day cream, night cream or eye cream. I chose to use it as an eye-cream because that is where I have noticed minor signs of aging (bummer). It is supposed to give you a radiant glow, fight aging and protect skin from environmental harm. I liked it but it is hard to tell how well anti-aging products work without using them for months straight.

Chella Eyebrow Pencil in Tantalizing Taupe: Eyebrows make your face - in addition to well taken care of skin. That being said, I am quite picky about my eyebrow products. This is a fine-tipped pencil with a creamy texture and truth be told, I liked it. I was almost sure I would hate it, but it goes on in such a natural way that it looks great. They got my shade right so that helped as well. I will still use my Anastasia Beverly Hills Pencil, but this just earned its way to my second choice. Although it's a creamy texture, it applies like a typical pencil which is a huge plus to me.

JUARA Candlenut Body Creme: This lotion extremely moisturizing and nourishing. It feels and smells luxurious and contains candlenut oil for softer skin. Don't ask me what a candlenut is, but whatever it is, I am a fan!

I would love to hear about your favorite luxurious final touch products that really make you feel pulled together and boost your confidence!
