What's in My Bag?

The short answer to what's in my bag... everything! Seriously, I like being prepared for any type of adventure so it is usually pretty full and HEAVY. I've tried to get better about it and weed some things out because it was even starting to make my shoulder hurt and that is just ridiculous.

Tory Burch York Buckle Tote

I have been drooling over every Light Oak colored Tory Burch bag recently, so during the 30% off Fall sale last weekend, I finally ordered this York Buckle Tote in that color. It is large and has pockets and a big, zipped center so it will be perfect for stuffing in water bottles and an iPad on top of my usual items!

I just happened to find the Aldo Faroce Wristlet in an almost identical color at DSW this weekend and bought it to match the bag. I love mixing price points!

Planner, Glasses, Earbuds

One of the things I swear by are lists and planners. They're hands-down the best way to stay organized! This one is from Karma Paper Co on Etsy and personalized (SO cute!).

My new favorite way to learn is via podcast, and I almost always have in earbuds to listen while I do other things. Some of my favorites are Girl Boss Radio, Straight Up with Stassi and anything from the Rich Dad Series - (nerd alert).

Now that I work from home, I almost always wear glasses instead contacts during the day. I wanted to mix it up and get some fun ones in addition to my more expensive Versace ones that I've lived in for years so I found Zenni Optical and these cute pink ones, which are prescription, and were only $20 TOTAL!! Crazy, right?

makeup

If you're on the go, it's important to carry some staples with you in case of a retouch. I can't stand carrying a hoard of makeup with me places so I keep it simple with a cute mirror, Dior lip-gloss, Caudalie lip balm and lotion and the Too Face Primed and Poreless compact in case I get shiny, which is nearly 5 minutes after I put on makeup.

This goes along with touch-up needs. A cute claw clip that's big enough to hold my hair (this one is $4 from H&M and huge) and Living Proof full dry volume blast!.

Two other staples are the adorable sparkly gold mini emergency kit that has everything you could need in case of a minor emergency that I got in a bridesmaid gift and my Fitbit Flex and Tory Burch cover for it. I like to carry it in my purse instead of wearing it sometimes because it still counts most of my steps. (I still need WAY more - oops).

So that is what is in my bag - what are key things you never leave home without?
